Catch that moment

What started as sunrise landscapes on my brisk early morning drives to check my first crop, has brought out an all new obsession! 

Turns out, chasing that perfect shot doesn't stop when you knock off. Somewhere between the paddocks and the stalls, I realised my passion for capturing those moments that last a lifetime. So there I went, traded a few too many phone photos for an actual camera — and had absolutely no clue what I was doing with it. Terrible light, blurry shots, more than a few "learning experiences", you could say. 

But I kept at it, like we do out in the country, mostly self taught, with a brother happily pointing out everything I got wrong along the way (thanks, bro).

The first time it really clicked was shooting a couple's session for some good friends — that "I think I can actually do this" feeling. Still chasing it, still learning, still obsessed.

These days you'll find me photographing couples, pets and comps, oh and still the orange and pinks in the rising sky — and now I want to do it for you.
